Hunter Industries intends to buy Senninger Irrigation, and the manufacturers have entered into their due diligence phase. The due diligence phase is expected to be completed by mid-September.
The two companies have been strategic partners since 2004.

Senninger is a Clermont, Fla.-based agriculture irrigation manufacturer that makes pressure regulators for turf & landscape applications. Hunter, based in San Marcos, Calif., also manufactures irrigation products, as well as landscape lighting and other custom manufacturing sectors.
Joe Senninger started Senninger in 1963. His nephews Andy and Mark Healy joined him, respectively, in 1964 and 1965. The company has been a privately held corporation for more than five decades.
