Anuvia Plant Nutrients opens $98M facility

The Anuvia Plant Nutrients facility in Zellwood, Fla. held its grand opening on May 10.
Anuvia Plant Nutrients openedĀ its fertilizer production facility in Zellwood, Fla. The $98 million plant started production in April and has capacity to produce moreĀ than 200 tons of product daily. Anuviaās products include GreenTRX for the turf industry and SymTRX for the agricultural sector.
āThe grand opening signals a new era of organic material utilization and plant nutrient technology,ā saidĀ Anuvia CEO Amy Yoder. āOur technology is innovative, unique and sustainable. Organic materials are consumed and processed into a homogenous multi-nutrient enhanced efficiency product.ā
The technology is based on a slow-release delivery system called the Organic MaTRX that mimics what happens with organic matter in the soil, YoderĀ said.
āAnuvia homogenous multi-nutrient products fit into any plant nutrient program,ā said Hugh MacGillivray, executive vice president of marketing and business development. āThey provide efficient nutrient delivery and place 16 percent organic matter back into the soil, which contributes to soil health.ā
The Zellwood, Fla., facility is the first site for Anuviaās production facilities. Plans are underway to build additional capacity at the Zellwood site, and otherĀ locations are under investigation.
