SPRINTURF launched its cool fiber technology, which reduces its artificial turf field temperatures by up to 20 percent. This proprietary reflective technology is integrated into the field and reflects solar heat to keep the turf fibers cool. The company manufactures 100 percent of its products in-house and in the U.S.
“Objects on the ground absorb heat from the sun and artificial turf is no different,” said Bruce Cheskin, SPRINTURF’s executive vice president. “With our new cool-fiber technology, the majority of solar heat is reflected back into the air to keep SPRINTURF fields cooler. This integrated technology helps keep athletes more comfortable during games.”
